My comic is 10,000 Drawings, which is two projects: the journal comic Daily Angst and the ancient Roman soap opera SPQR Blues. One of these occasionally features guys in skirts. The other one is about the Roman Empire, Mount Vesuvius, and adventures in the Middle East. Sometimes I draw scantily clad elves, but I can't show you where they are, to protect my reputation as being not the sort of person to draw scantily clad elves. I'm sure they'd all be considered very tasteful. Maybe by ancient Romans. I have been both looking for comics I know and like, and also going through the Member List to find new comics that look intriguing. If you do a comic about ancient history... or any history... I'm pretty sure I want to be your friend.

Thank you so much. My obsession with the ancient world needed an outlet--I get into so much trouble when I stop people on the sidewalk and lecture them in Latin. More? No problem, I'll get right on that today. (I'm easy that way.) |

Hmm... it seems I can't add comments to my own profile.... interesting. The wood cabins still lack indoor plumbing it would seem. Anyway, very interesting what you said about us being a different ends of the spectrum.... its true that our comics couldnt be any more different in their format. Yours is beautifully drawn in (I've always been meaning to tell you this) incredibly close quarters (not that there's anything wrong with that, they always feel like croppings of a bigger frame) and mine is a video with lots of zooming and pans, and.... owww, its early in the morning.. brain hasnt fully engaged yet. Anyway, cheers!! SPQR blues is really taking off, and it couldnt have happened to a better person! |
