WELCOME to the Official comicspace of 229 Comics !! home of FESTER, Chikin Floo, Sharpes Pointe, and The Gang.. 229 is the culmination of a lifelong hobby which involved creating some of the most twisted drawings, paintings, sculptures, prosthetics and special effects, and many other mediums.. For me art wasn't just an influence.. It was a means of coping.. A way of dealing with the darkness both within and without.. I cant say I've lived a terribly hard life.. Quite the opposite, I have been afforded privileges that many others do not get..

Still, I have been to some bad places.. I've seen some things that nobody should ever have to see, and we'll not get into some of the things I have done.. It's been an interesting ride and through it I have created alot of art.. 229 is yet another expansion of what has been a lifelong practice, and now grows into a career.. 229 is NOT my fulltime job, it's something that I crank out between my job, dealing with a P.O.S. car, the assorted craziness life throws at you and trying to get in some guitar time in between..

I strive for something different with 229, I want it to look and feel different than other webcomics.. I don't know if we've yet hit that mark but thats what we're aiming for.. The evolution has been slow but it has evolved.. Started off as primitive sketches and has grown into something that continues to change and develop into a more sophisticated machine..

So, I hope you'll stick around as we wind this trail and perhaps share a moment, a laugh, a maybe even a scare..
