Who Am I?

I'm an unabashed fan of all things geek be it: movies, comic books, video games or pop culture. I've also been lucky enough to have had some pretty cool jobs over the years including working as a book editor and General Manager of a mid-sized publisher called EDGE Science Fiction and Fantasy Publishing. Several years later, I somehow ended up working in the video game industry and I'm currently employed as a writer for a games company called Artech Studios. As a writer I've worked on a number of PS2, Xbox and DVD products with companies including Disney, Hasbro and 20th Century Fox. Essentially, I'm being paid to write and play games all day and there are times when I can't help but feel like the luckiest bastard on Earth.
These days, I also have several comic book projects in the works including a mini-series I've written in production with the Chicago based Shadow Tactics Studios. I'm also collaborating on a supernatural, crime-noir graphic novel with a talented artist in Brazil, which with any luck, will see the light of day sometime next year.
If that wasn't busy enough, I'm also a featured writer for the Eagle Award winning comic book website Silver Bullet Comic Books and over the years have had the chance to meet and interview a number of extremely talented individuals working in the industry including: Geoff Johns, C.B. Cebulski, Greg Horn and Daniel Knauf, to name a few.

I currently live in Ottawa, Ontario (capital of Canada) and have a beautiful wife, a dog and a crap load of comics to keep me company. I also enjoy sunsets, long walks on the beach and decapitating zombies...
