Art Explorer Post 407 is a part of Explorering which investigates careers in the art field. We meet weekly at the campus of the Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio. The Comics Group meets for an hour every week as part of the overall session. The Comics Group's goal is to investigate comics by means of instructional sessions and guest speakers and to produce an anthology comic for the annual Small Press and Alternative Comics Expo (SPACE)also in Columbus Ohio. The Comics Group has participated in SPACE for the past 4 years and produced 4 mini-comics entitled "Untitled". These books are available at www.backporchcomics.com. All the proceeds from the books help pay for art supplies and trips for the post.
