The main character is John Nash, pro wrestler for a local independent promotion called Triple X by day and night, and super powered vigilante by later at night. Nash is not your typical vigilante, he's actually a fairly mentally balance individual in spite of what led him along this path. At nine years old, Nash's entire family was butchered in a government "clean up." Upon this, Nash was immediately placed into a maximum security state mental institution. What followed for the next decade was a grooming for a serial killing, super powered lunatic, if it had been anyone else. Within the walls Nash called home, he waited and learned. He learned to fight by watching Saturday afternoon pro wrestling and Lucha Leibre on television. And he made friends. Well, one friend, Agnew, the split personality resulting from his traumatic past. Agnew eventually manifested himself in a "Frankenstein-like" creation from discarded stuffed animals in the craft room. After creating his new friend, Agnew and he became undivided. They did everything together. And Nash soon came to refer to Agnew as his sidekick. Agnew accompanied Nash everywhere within the confines of Norfolk. Nash needed Agnew to attempt to keep his sanity. Agnew in turn needed Nash for protection from the other inmates. The inmates would try and steal Agnew on numerous occasions. This didn't last long, as Nash would "black out" and go completely ballistic, beating up and often disfiguring guys twice his size. It was just a part of his daily life during the decade he spent inside Norfolk Asylum. Nash eventually realized he must escape Norfolk Asylum or die inside its cold, concrete and steel walls. The escape plan was on. As this will be later visited in a mini series or novelization called, Youth in Asia: 10 Years in Hell. This will deal with every character and their ten years before the book started and they all came to be friends. I am currently working on the story and art for Ten Years in Hell. I am in talks with my friend MilkmanX to do the inks on this project. The artwork will be different from the previous issues of Youth in Asia. I am also in talks with Venus of Necro about our collaboration on Fuzzyface. Venus wrote the story a while back and now she wants to revisit the script before I rebegin the art. Of this update, I have begun and made good headway on the artwork for Fuzzyface. Other than 1/3 of a page I went back and redid the first three pages of interiors. I have gotten to the double digits on page count now. This is looking to be my best work thus far. Written by Venus of Necro and edited by Me, as well as illustrated by me. Look for Fuzzyface to be announced sometime in 2010. As a graphic novel. Currently in my pull list: Powergirl Anything BombQueen or by Jimmie Robinson Batman and Robin The Blackest Night storyline I am also working to bring Wonder Woman Day to Tucson. Wonder Woman Day is the celebration of the seminal heroine of comic books. And how people can be inspired by her and embrace her strength and honor. This celebration was created to help raise awareness of domestic violence, and to raise funds for local domestic violence shelters for women and children. WWD brings together two worlds which touch many lives. The basis is by hosting the event at a comic book shop and getting them as well as all creators involved to give 100% of the profits and proceeds to the shelter being represented. Artists donate their time and their work, as they contribute original works of Wonder Woman for a silent auction. Some artists also join in the festivities in person and do sketches for those at the gathering of the greatest female character in comics. People can make donations towards the shelter for their sketches and are encouraged to learn more about how to spot, and prevent domestic violence. I have become a friend to this cause because an old friend of mine whom I lost contact with was murdered by her boyfriend in August of 2008. The news just reached me recently and I have quickly taken up arms in advocacy of education and resistance of this horrible tragedy which affects more than just those being abused. My fried, Lisa Berrie left behind 2 children, a sister and both of her parents and a lot of friends. People recognized that she was being abused, but unfortunately nobody stepped in until it was too late. She was murdered when she had apparently had enough. Her bags were packed and her car was right at her apartment door when her boyfriend killed her. I miss you Lisa. I will never forget you. And I love you.
