I don't know as much about comics as I should. However, I am a fan, and I enjoy comic/gaming conventions (though I'm not a gamer, either... I'm not really winning any subculture points here). My first comic book was Roman Dirge's Lenore, at age 19. I was in a comic book shop because my boyfriend at the time was really into Batman, and I wanted to buy Batman/Aliens for him. There was an SLG rack by the register, and my love of comics was born. I like darker books, or dark humor/absurdity; superheroes don't really do anything for me. Literally and figuratively.

I like webcomics a lot, as well. Something Positive and Ctrl+alt+del are my major ones, though I dabble in others.
