Does anybody read ComicSpace bulletins?

Bulletin:

Okay, so it's a good thing that we're so far ahead on our book. It means fans and retailers can jump on board and know that Proof is going to be on the racks the fourth week of every month.

But as I'm re-lettering issue two, getting ready to send it off into the Great Unknown, it means that I'm reading yesterday's news. I mean, what am I doing? Hasn't everybody read this old crap already? No. Actually not much of anybody has. We're at Image, which means nobody's in the loop, just Riley and Tyler and me.

Proof's in Africa now, as far as we're concerned, running for his life from deadly hunters and trying to save a baby dinosaur from extinction. But nobody's read about his adventures in far-flung Minnesota yet.

Sigh.

Back to work for me. Enjoy Minnesota when you get to read it in October, but Africa's gonna knock your socks off, folks.

PS - To clear things up: Proof spends the entire first story arc on or near the Kekekabic Trail in Minnesota. For the second arc Proof and his fellow Lodge agents go to the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
