I am a Canadian - a Torontonian to be specific, born and educated there, with a few years in frequently frozen Ottawa crammed in the middle. I studied art at CTS in Toronto and moved to the US shortly afterward. Baton Rouge, Louisiana for four years (OMGHot) and now settled in Springfield, Massachusetts (OMGWhere?). I have my eye on moving out near Portland, OR, some day. Friends out that way, of course, but then Powells is there. If you're a book freak and you've ever walked in there, you understand.

My time these days are split between webcoding, art, and writing. I do comics when I can, which isn't nearly often enough for my liking. I'm most successful at 1-offs and 24 hour comics where I can't get into endless revisions. The Far Field was published in 24 Hour Comics Day Highlights 2004. I've also got a piece in Boo! 2006 and Calamity! I'm in the middle of scripting a graphic novel, and on occasion I'll do silly little cat comics which I post on flickr.

I like your work, Sort of skilled at the art of simulating the unskilled... if that makes sense? your lines look all over the place, but seem to go exactly where they should.
Thans for the add to your friends list.
