I love comics, and am an amateur creator . . . very amateur. I've been published just the once, in The Girls' Guide To Guys' Stuff, a Friends of Lulu anthology from a couple years back. Recently I've been playing around with some semi-autobiographical works for practice, and beginning work on my first minicomic, Goodness Knows. Someday in the not-too-distant future, I'd like to get back to working on my long-term project, Anathema. It's meant to be a comic about coming of age, free will, and possibly the Second Coming. (Not currently available at that or any other link, though you can see some old pages here in my gallery.)

(In spite of appearances, I am not a "Christian" cartoonist. I have a certain fascination with religious themes--I minored in Religion and Biblical Lit--but I tend to twist them around to reflect my much more pluralistic and agnostic perspective. Fair warning, I guess?)

In Spring 2006 I graduated from Smith College, ready to discover exactly what, in fact, you can do with a B.A. in English. (I am still working on this one, though I have some ideas.) The previous summer, I interned at the fantastic Center for Cartoon Studies in White River Junction, Vermont. It's an amazing school, and I wouldn't mind going back someday.

Meanwhile, I read voraciously, and fangirl madly, and am working on figuring out this 'real life' business.
