If you're a retailer and have experienced some delays, cancellations, or mis-direction when placing a re-order for Alterna Comics titles, then fret no more!

Publisher Peter Simeti states, "We know how frustrating it can be to place a re-order on a book and end up never receiving it due to the auto-cancel policy of some distributors. This ends up making the retailer look bad because they don't have a book in stock that has been ordered to be in stock - and it ends up making us look even worse because of it. It's chain of events that we are trying to put an end to."

The direct-to-retailer re-order system will provide a 50% off cover discount to a retailer.
If the retailer were to re-order for 5 or more titles (or 5 or more copies of one title) then the retailer would qualify for free shipping.

Simeti also added, "We really believe this will allow retailers to purchase our books in a confident manner without having to play the waiting game. The goal is to end the frustration that everyone involved feels when orders don't arrive."

Alterna Comics will begin offering direct retailer re-order fulfillment as of June 27th, 2008.
