I personally like doing a combination of hosting. I do my webcomic at Comicgenesis because it is free. I can do my html how ever I want, and the FTP uploading is very easy. the only downside is that there is a banner on top--but hey--ITS FREE!
Not to mention, Comicgenesis has one of the largest webcomic forums around which gives me a ton of free advertising.
The second thing I do is tooncast from webcomicsnation.com which allows my fans to put a daily tooncast on thier website. It is not as easy to upload as an FTP account, but it has it's benefits as well.

Hey Josh-
I got a big question for you.
A lot of sights like mine over at Comic Genesis allow for live journal or blogger.com or some other thing like that to show on thier comic page. Do you happen to know how I can integrate Comicspace into my Comic Genesis webcomic? Of all the services out there, I would rather use yours on my website and not Live Journal.

Not that I know of, but I don't know ComicGen that well. It probably requires an RSS feed or something similar. Eventually, I'll provide that, but it's still a few weeks away. |
