I've illustrated on several different graphic novel projects and I've collaborated with Trina Robbins on a number of books including the Lulu Award winning GoGirl! and Sexy Chix for Dark Horse. Trina and I have also signed on with Capstone Press and just finished a Graphic Library volume of Florence Nightingale. We have also contributed to Graphic Classics on a Jack London anthology and the upcoming Jane Austen's Northanger Abbey which will be published in GOTHIC CLASSICS Spring 2007. Please check out my gallery for Graphic Classics Special Edition for FCBD 2008  Writer Antonella Caputo and I worked together on an adaptation of Mary Shelley's The Dreampublished in Graphic Classics for Free Comic Book Day. I also have work included in the Eisner Nominated Dignifying Science. I am a big fan of Black and White films including some of the old Universal Monster films as well as the romantic masterpieces like Mildred Pierce and Ninotchka ("Don't pronounce it--see it!"). Well done - as usual for you and Trina. Nice to see Go Girl still getting her chops.
But as a "cat person" myself, I cried a little that Chatty Catty is the feline villain. Hahah!
Nice reviews - also (off topic) Polly & the Pirates is another fav. I'm glad there's a possible 2008 sequel. |

I was in Galveston, TX at the time. I was riding a carriage to my car lol on that pic going through the downtown strand area. Its were the shopping stores were located. I was headed to the beach. It was about a couple of months ago, but I had so much fun! |
