GROUP AFFILIATION: DC Comics BASE OF OPERATIONS: New York City FIRST APPEARANCE: January 11, 1972 SECRET ORIGIN:Anton's history in the comics biz spans nearly a decade. Currently, he is a Collected Editions editor at DC, responsible for books such as ABSOLUTE DC THE NEW FRONTIER, ABSOLUTE KINGDOM COME, WORLD'S GREATEST SUPER-HEROES, INFINITE CRISIS, JUSTICE, the JACK KIRBY'S FOURTH WORLD OMNIBUS books, the 52 volumes, and much, much more. Coming up: Hardcover collections of JUSTICE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL, plus the STARMAN OMNIBUS series, of which you can get a sneak peek of here:  Anton was DC Comics' catalog writer from 2000-2002, and prior to that he owned and ran a comics store (Adventure Ink in Pleasantville, NY) from 1999-2000. Anton was also a founding member of the gay comics group the Gay League, and moderated it from 1998-2000. He also built their first website, with absolutely no knowledge of HTML (it showed). He has since turned the site over to the more capable hands of Joe Palmer. Anton's been a huge comics fan for over 25 years, and delights in referring to himself in the 3rd person. Starbucks soy chai lattes.  PARAPHERNALIA:Anton can usually be seen carrying comics written by the likes of Grant Morrison, Gail Simone, Geoff Johns and others. He makes sure to carry around a Mac, iPod or other Apple-related product at all times.

Probably no U2 shows in the near future...the one last weekend in Hawaii I was at was apparantly the last for the forseeable future, but next time out I will be hitting a few shows at MSG - it's one of the cities I've been planning for a while to catch them at. May get the urge to travel down that way earlier though just for fun... |
