Mill Girl is set in the early 19th century and is the story of a farm girl named Angela Hobson who leaves the comfort of the rural New Hampshire countryside to journey to the Mill City of Lowell Massachusetts.There, along with thousands of other young girls, she embarks on an adventure of self discovery at the height of the Industrial Revolution in America.

This project is a very personal one for me and it’s taken me over 15 years to finally bring it to light. All told, the story should take about 8-10 issues to tell. I don’t have a specific schedule worked out for this as I’m juggling a few other projects at the same time but, my heart is into it and I hope the wait between issues isn’t a long one.

Mill Girl #1 should be on sale from Indy Planet shortly. Check out my home page for updates or if you happen to be in the Orlando area, I'll be at Megacon this weekend at the Ka-Blam/Indy Planet table selling the first issue.
