So who’s Phantom Jack? Jack Baxter is a New York newspaper reporter who can turn invisible. He is an ordinary guy in an ordinary world. He lives in a place where people don't fly overhead or swing through the air on webbing. And that is where the premise of Phantom Jack lays.

Imagine what a trained reporter could do with those skills? Jack is not a superhero, neither is he a coward. Jack’s not a movie hero ready to sacrifice his life for a stranger, but he tries to do the right thing. And overall, he does a pretty damn good job. In ABSOLUTE PHANTOM JACK, APA collects the first five issues of the series along with nearly 100 pages of new material, including two brand-new stories. In the first arc, our invisible reporter rescues a homeless man from a beating and uses his wits and limited powers to rescue his brother, who had been captured by Iraqis at the start of the war. As the series progresses, Jack learns how to manipulate his limited powers more effectively.

“I really dug Phantom Jack! A great premise, cool storytelling, and a fascinating look at the world of journalism from a writer who knows the life”

--Brian K. Vaughn (Runaways, Y the Last man, TV’s Lost)

Phantom Jack TPB: Absolute Edition Vol. 1

Written by Peter G, Pencils by Dwayne Biddix, Inks by Rob Lansley, Colors by Anthony Lee, Letters by Jay LaValley, Edits by Chris Carpenter

If you could hear the footsteps of death, to what lengths would you go to survive? The path of history is paved with the dead of those slain to ensure a continued journey forward. This is the world of The Supremacy. A world where the ones who have the ability to buckle buildings and crumple cars gives a dangerous and brutal edge to survival. With the lethal Obsidian Warrior’s arrival, can The Supremacy’s wall of protection survive his crushing blows or will it crumble under their own betrayal?
