| Header: | The Emerald City Con was super :) | ||
| Bulletin: | I got back from Seattle 2 days ago after attending the Emerald City Comic Con. It was a blast!!! I went both days, and got to briefly talk to Brian Posehn, for one. He's one of my favorite funny men of all time! I really didn't think I'd be that nervous. But.... it always tends to happen. I get VERY nervous and VERY shy. And I HATE IT!!! Anyways, I met a lot of amazing artists, creators, etc., and got lots and lots of merchandise! I was in comic heaven! On Saturday a couple people told me they hadn't seen Adam Hughes at all, and weren't sure if he was even there. I browsed through the program really quick, and honestly did not see his name. So I kinda just figured maybe he backed out of the con, and I didn't really look for him. BAD IDEA!!! The second day of the con - Sunday - I was browsing through the con program again and saw Adam's name on the booth map. Figured I'd go to his booth number and see who was sitting there. Definitely didn't believe I'd have gone through the whole place the day before and missed him. That'd just be...silly! So when I got to his booth number, LO AND BEHOLD, it said "Adam Hughes" on the table tag. AND a sign sat on the table that said, "Adam is sick today. It's unsure whether or not he'll be back". SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!! He never did end up coming back. I can't believe I missed him on Saturday....I wanted to cry. Or beat myself up for being such a retard. Arrrrgh. Anyhow, I'll get another chance at the San Diego Con in July...just got my ticket :) |
