I've been a regular poster on CBR for about 4+ years now. Most of the people I like don't post there anymore, so I go less frequently nowadays. I've been told I'm a mean person for saying that an attraction to anthropomorphic animals is not healthy, telling someone I had no interest in their sexual fetishes, and suggesting that some people are distinctly and definitively smarter than others. You can probably see why I go to the boards less often as of late.

Gail Simone called me a "trainwreck of a person" and started a 20-page thread devoted to insulting me.

My philosophy with comics is the same as my philosophy on movies, music, or any other form of disposable art. If you can have meaningful, well-crafted art, why would you want anything less? I don't. Maybe I'm just spoiled, but I've seen some of the best art ever made, and if it doesn't compare, I'm not interested.
