USPOLL artist AWOL.... my message to him

Bulletin:

I'm sorry to say to a few of you out there whom have shown interest in Uncle Samson and The Phantoms Of Lost Liberty, that the fate of the project is unknown. Another 6 months of my life wasted as another artist demoralizes and takes advantage of a fellow creator.

The artist I hired, payed, and have been in contact since June, has elected to ignore all my e-mails for the past month,and he refuses to pay back what he owes me. He has a presence here on comicspace, but I cannot send this message to him, as we never befriended, and lets be honest- he's no friend of mine.

At this point, I feel if I can do nothing else,I will make this known publicly. We voice our concerns, and sound the alarms when publishers take advantage of people in our community, and individual creators should be held accountable for doing bad business as well. If you disagree, I apologize for disturbing you. Please ignore me, and/or block me from your bulletins. I honestly don't want to bother anyone, but if my last recourse is airing my dirty laundry in order to get a message to this individual, I will. It's the least I can do.

Rudy Vasquez -do the right thing. Pay me what you owe me. I know your active on deviantart.com, so the brief trip to the emergency room you mentioned in late August/early September hasn't effected your ability to type e-mails, or work on your overdue artwork for larger publishers. If you have taken on too many projects, or something is going on with you, that's unfortunate, but your talent doesn't change the fact that, since your not going to work on my book, you owe me the money I paid you. Repeat: Since your not going to work on my book, you owe me back the money I paid you. I've been patient. I've been understanding. I offered you a chance to work something out. But I'll be damned if you think you can sweep us under the rug. Where's the accountability? No more excuses Rudy. If this gets to you somehow, e-mail me. My hard earned money was not a donation.
