Thanks again! CCN looks like a blast, and your comicspace page aint so shabby either! I wish we had something like CCN out here. The cover artist is Dani Roberge. She's primarily involved in the gaming industry, but I think she's going to make a big splash in comics as well, once people get a chance to see her work. I'll relay the kind words to her. And don't be a stranger Mark. Keep me updated on CCN...

'Gothic Romance' was decent. Some good artwork (a tad on the gorey side) but otherwise well told and illustrated.

David, Gothic Romance is very very cool. The artist did an awesome job with the layouts and storytelling i thought, and i agree with the others, the colour was very well done! I like how you showed the credits and how the mum ran for the news as we finished the letter! Very heartbreaking! Very well done!

Cadre Corners own PJ Magalhaes! Hey PJ!! What's up?!

If I've broken the readers heart,I feel I've done my job! lol Seriously though, thanks a million for all the kind words, the talent that you lent to 'The Faustians', and all the support and encouragement you've given me since! As you know, I'm packaging 'The Faustians' as a backup story in 'Gothic Romance' #1, so your inks are slated to be in the same book!

How's everything with you brother? Did you hit that con in Sydney a few months back?

[ Posted by ComicCreatorsNetwork on Feb 1st, 2007 4:10 PM ]...

I also like the coloring on Gothic Romance. And the story is a bit twisted...with some irony thrown in. It gets creepier and creepier as you slowly reveal what's happening. The reader is always a step or two ahead of dear-old-mom in figuring the circumstances out. I like that...

Thanks for the kind words Mark! It really means a lot to me that you enjoyed 'Memorandum'! I'll let you know when I've loaded up the next stories, and hopefully you'll enjoy those as well! Thanks again!

Wow, really dug Gothic Romance! Nice story, lettering, art, and colors! Look forward to seeing more!

Thanks Alex! I should have more pages up in the next couple of days. 'Memorandum' is the only tale that's been colored thus far. At the time, it didn't seem like a good financial decision to color the whole book on just a shoestring budget, but fortunately, I was lucky enough to hire colorist Jason Embury for a few pages anyway. One of my biggest regrets is not getting him more work. I believe he's with Shadowline now.

Letterer Jason Arthur is a solid, diverse talent that always, always gets the job done. He's really the backbone of 'Gothic Romance'. If I were a publisher looking to build a bullpen, I'd hire him posthaste.

As for penciler/inker extraordinaire Raj Golay, if you like the 'Memo' pencils, I can't wait for you to read 'Fool Moon'!

Hey, thanks for the add. Be sure to check out the book if you can. Take care.

Thanks Bill! I saw the colorists work, and thought he'd be perfect for the story. Jason Embury is a very talented guy.

Thanks once again for the kind words, Dave. I look forward to seeing what's next from Gothic Romance, The Faustians, and all the other great titles you have coming down the pipe.

And, of course, I hope we get the opportunity to work together sooner rather than later!

Comicspace is so accessible, so easy to work with, even a technologically challenged novice like me can build a web presence here! I love this place! As far as the book, there's just a couple of things left to do, and the first issue will finally be done. The cover is taking a lot more time than I thought, but man, it's going to be worth the wait! I'll try to post it once it's finished. I plan on spending a lot of time here, so don't be a stranger PJ!
