| Header: | The reviews have been great, the sales and general interest...not so much. Call it a day? PLEASE READ | ||
| Bulletin: | In a bid to reach a broader audience, we are toying with the idea of canceling the current series, and submitting the project to another publisher or relaunching the series as it currently is through diamond (on a bi-monthly schedule) once the entire series has been completed. As it stands now, distribution is from a few online stores and ourselves. Neither of which seems to be doing the trick. We're not looking for astronomical or unrealistic numbers, hell, I'd be happy if we sold a hundred -- but we haven't. This book, that most everyone who reads it seems to like, just isn't moving and its becoming increasingly harder to justify spending the cash to produce. I know the sole blame is on me, the publisher, but I figured it would be easier to produce something and get it out myself rather than take my chances by pitching to image or the like who receive zillions of pitches from people just like me every single day. And, hey, maybe now that we have something solid to show it'll be a little easier to make some headway. Who knows? So what I'm asking for now is not for you to buy the books (but that wouldnt hurt either lol) is your opinions. What do we do with this series? Everyone's got an opinion, so lets hear it because honestly, we're ready to just throw our hands up in the air. -J PS Apologies for grammatical and typographical mistakes, this was written quickly in a bout of frustration, but we really would like your opinions. |
