Volunteers Needed for a Madison Area RPG Session with Autistic Teens

Some of you may have seen an article on Grumbling Dwarf awhile back from the Ausome group of Madison for autistic individuals wanting to do a group rpg activity.

I’ve been speaking with the organizer of Ausome, and though they’ve changed their plans for April, there is still some interest in holding an activity in May or June.

I’m still getting all of the details, but they’ve spoken with Misty Mountain about holding a session there. My guess is there will be about 25 participants with additional parents and organization volunteers.

I’m looking for people with patience interested in DM-ing (we need about 4 still) and others interested in being helpers (we need about 9 yet) for groups of 4 or 5 teens each.

This is an awesome opportunity to combine a passion for gaming with a very cool community program.

PLUS there will be free pizza…

3/21/07 UPDATE: Ausome has planned their summer acitivites and are looking at a September game day for this.
