Surprising Costumes of the Superheroes

Although Christmas is the “money” holiday, everyone knows how much nerds love Halloween, and comic creators are no different. In the dim days of the ‘90’s, there was a one shot DC/Marvel crossover called “Halloween Crisis Spectacular”, where some villain or another - does it matter which one? - made them think they were kids, dressing up for Halloween. Because of the use of red dye number two in the printing process, most of these issues were recalled, but we at CX have uncovered a copy, and below is who the superheroes chose to dress as in their childhood forms. Don’t blame us - this isn’t our fault.

Spider-Man - Charlie Brown style ghost (a sheet with an inappropriate number of holes in it)

Wonder Woman - Construction worker

Green Lantern - Jello mold

Wolverine - Hello Kitty

Batman - Dr. Frank N. Furter

Elektra - Ballerina

Green Arrow - John Lennon

Thor - Certified public accountant

Aqua man - Namor (or was it Namor being Aquaman?)

Robin - Hot dog vendor

Punisher - Madonna, Like A Virgin era

Black Canary - Big Bird

Superman - Sexy nurse

I have no idea what this says about the creator who wrote this … but I can say that Superman made a damn fine sexy nurse.
