THIS WEEK IN ASTRONEWS (er, events...)

Well people, this week is full of twists and turns and events galore!

Tuesday night (tonight) at 5:30 is our $10 Lorwyn booster draft! Single elim!

Wednesday is NEW COMIC BOOK DAY, but I'm short a Brendan and a Joe (they are in NYC right now), so I won't have pull/holds done until 1pm, most likely. Thanks for your patience!

Thursday we'll be serving as the set of an AT&T commercial, so we won't be open until 1:30pm. Sorry for those of you who wanted to get your books Thursday during lunch...you'll have to wait! It's a closed set, so I can't slip you in to sell you stuff until 1:30-ish!

Friday is another FNM @ 6pm...so Magic players need to bring their type 2 decks and compete in a swiss-stravaganza...only 1 rare or 1 dollar to enter! Snacks, pop, and more room than normal will be available!

SATURDAY, though, at 3pm is the event I look forward to most! John Porcellino of King Cat Comics will be in store for a couple of hours this Saturday to sell product, talk to fans, sign stuff, etc. He's an indy comix legend, so DO NOT MISS the chance to meet and talk with this very talented storyteller! ATTENTION MAGIC PLAYERS!

Now, normally we do a booster draft at 3pm for Magic IN STORE, on Saturdays. Since John P. is going to be chilling here, we're gonna be holding the event downstairs at the Java Break! I'll have a representative running the event downstairs, but you need to actually pay for the event in the store like normal. Once you pay for your entry, wander downstairs and find the other players. It's simple...it works...it will be fun! Lorwyn draft unless players vote otherwise!
