Black Summer is one of the freshest takes on the superhero genre I've seen, possibly every. I can't wait for #2 to see what twists Ellis takes us down to the finish.

My indie friendly comic shop never used to carry your books, but after I put a few of your titles on my pull list, the walls suddenly seemed to be covered with Avatar Press comics. Could be just a coincidence, but I think my retailer saw the same quality comic books that I saw, and ordered accordingly. Keep up the great work!

He has cemented relationships with the best creators in the business, has a great eye for great original work, and built Avatar to the point where we can use 2007 as our personal soapbox to make a scene. Either way, if you have liked us in the past you will thoroughly enjoy what we have planned for this year. I'm very excited myself to be working for Avatar at this point in their history because because the splash we intend to make this year is beginning to resemble a wave.
