| Header: | El Gato Negro meets The Batman! | ||
| Bulletin: | Hola Gato-Fans, It's true, The Nocturnal Warrior did meet up with The Dark Knight, and of all places....San Antonio, Texas! While pushing our book, El Gato Negro, Nocturnal Warrior:Legacy #1 (prior to press), we were in the Alamo City (October 2004)attending a comic book convention as guests. We almost didn't get due to limited spaces, and we were in the process of heading back to I-35 north when the promoter convinced us to stay if we would like to be with the "Media Guests"... I said "OK". We didn't know that we would end up at a table next to "Batman:Dead End" Director, Sandy Collora and actor-bodybuilder, Clark Bartram, who played Batman in the short film We were also across from "The Ultimate Bad-Guy" actor, Scott Schwartz, who was the most kindest "gentle giant" in the movie industry (although, I'm not going to tell him that!...but he did take a liking to my son, Piotr). Later that evening, my nephew, my son and myself along with other creators and geeks took Sandy, Clark and Scott to a Tex-Mex Restaurant in San Antonio's Riverwalk and really had a Texas Style good time (mariachis and all!). That evening, Clark (Batman) Bartram came up to me and said that I had a very well-behaved son. My son, Piotr really had a time of his life: "I had dinner with Batman!" Both Sandy and Clark became true "Gato-Fans" and told me that they would like to see a "El Gato Negro:Dead End" one day (me too!). Later, that month...my son, Piotr wanted to be Batman for Halloween and I took his picture as he was crouching just like Clark did in the short film. I said to my son: "Would you like to send this picture to Clark...?" Piotr said: "No, I don't want to take his job away." |
