Garrett Farrelly first wrote Grace in 2003 in the dead dark of a Chicago winter. Once the script was completed Garrett sought out an artist on the internet bulletin board site Craigslist and found artist Steven Lougheed. Together Steven and Garrett have worked to bring Grace to completion while looking to future projects under the studio name BackPack Studio.

The book has been done for a year now. We had some trouble with our first printer who said they would print the book, but then stopped responding to our emails. We finally ended up going with Lulu.com, a print-on-demand service. However, before we could print with Lulu, we needed to resize the book, from 5"x7.5" to standard comic size, since Lulu doesn't support custom sizes. But we have received copies of the book and they look great with color covers, black & white interiors and perfect bound for $7.99 USD.
