Banal Pig Number 1 was officially launched at Bristol 2005, featuring such memorable characters as Womany Man, Incompetent Shark and of course, Banal Pig himself. The anthropomorphic adventures continued in Banal Pig Comic 2 and shortly afterward came the spin-off mini-comic Jolly Bear and Fun Coconut Summer Special, which features a verse about Jolly Bear's grim life in Hackney, and Fun Coconut's obsession with the film Basic Instinct. Banal Pig Three was recently completed, and continues the adventures of many of the characters from 1 & 2, with a few more chucked in for good measure.

Also under the banal pig umbrella is the excellent Man Man and Friends Numbers 1 & 2 by Gareth Brookes, and his rather disgusting ode to onanism, The Wonder of Me.
