Hey Joe... Well sadly I haven't drawn in a very, very long time. Back then I knew how to draw a pinup but never could get a grasp on backgrounds, panels and all the other stuff that make artists like yourself great. Seriously, I can't even remember the last time I drew anything... I actually got into writing more but have never had anything published. I just basically write as a hobby but I do enjoy it. I still love art and follow my favorite artists on the books they work on. I'm not working in the industry at all but at least I'm doing a job I like to do. But it's definitely not as fun as you have drawing super heroes for a living. Not many jobs can beat that! LoL Again man, I see how your art has developed and grown and I can tell you're putting some major time with your work. I congratulate you on that dude. Maybe one day I'll be able to get into the industry as a writer but I'm definitely not good enough for that now! LoL

Dude I'll definitely be ordering Bold Blood this week and would greatly appreciate it if you did sign it for me man. Are you still in New York? It's awesome that I was able to find you here dude... Funny thing is I just recently Googled your name to see if you were drawing anything now. I was recently telling my wife about my time at Valiant and told her about you and how I was always around your art desk. So I decided to search your name in Google to see what you were working on and found you here. Dude I wish you had the rights to Rai... I always thought he was an awesome character. Anyway dude, it's been awesome hearing from you again. I'll let you know when I place my order for Bold Blood so that you can know when to expect it.

jaime--so what do you do for a living? hope its creative on some level at least--i have too many websites now, besides this one i have www.popartproperties.com, which is for corporate clients, www.astronautink.com, my publishing site, and www.crunchycomics.com is for people like yourself who love comics, who have made their own strips or books, and want an outlet to show their work.--joe--ps--rai WAS the best--my fave valiant character by a mile

Nothing too creative about my job… I work at an office in the financial department of my company. But at least it’s not one of those places people work in and want to get out. LoL I actually like my job and enjoy doing what I do. But the biggest joy I get is doing what I do in my spare time. I go out and share words of encouragement to youth in prisons or in other places that I get a chance to speak in. I love helping out and letting our youth know that there are better things in life than what is offered most of the time to them. Most of these kids only know about family and love from gangs they join because maybe at home they don’t get that love. Or, they get into trouble because they feel they have to be a certain way to be accepted. So when I get the opportunity I go and share some words to groups of youth, or I have individual time with them to share my life experience and encourage them to see the world differently. Any little I can do to help someone out is very rewarding to me. If I can change a life, or if I can make someone believe and hope… I truly feel I’ve accomplished something and feel good and thankful for the opportunity that I had. Hopefully this doesn’t sound too weird dude! LoL But in the future, I would love to someday at least write a novel or a comic with ideas I have floating in my head.

Hey Joe what's up! I hope every thing is going well for you. Dude there's an artists forum I go to and some one that I follow there drew an awesome Rai pic that I wanted you to check out. It brought back so many memories! You need to own the rights to Rai dude... He needs to be revived. I asked the artist if I could forward the pic to you and he said it would be awesome if I did so. He has a great style and has a good hold of anatomy. I think you'll like the drawing. I put the link so that you can check it out for yourself... Let me know what you think.
