IMPORTANT- ooops, my character's name.

I found out some time ago (I really should have mentioned this before) but some time AFTER I created and named my character that "Barry Barbarian" is also the nickname for Barry Windsor Smith- Artist for the Conan the Barbarian comics. OOPS!

I swear I'm not trying to rip him off or pretend to be him or anything like that- this is COMPLETELY COINCIDENTAL! I just gave my character the first name that came into my head and, lets be honest, "Barry Barbarian" is pretty much the most obvious name for a cartoon barbarian, seeing as "Barry" sounds very much like "Barbarian". Like I said I promise I knew nothing of Barry Windsor-Smith back then! I don't even really read comics (yes I know- I really should as it might make my work less C**P but I derive my influence mainly from newspaper cartoons also other webcomics and TV cartoons).

Aside from the obvious difference that my work is C**P whereas Conan is one of the big well known comic book characters my character and work have nothing at all in common with Conan so it should be obvious to anyone reading that it is not intended as any sort of rip-off, parody or anything of the kind- just coincidence!

So I'm very sorry if anyone got the wrong impression, I should go back and change his name in all of them at some point- does anyone have any suggestions?
