Artist

As an artist I've penciled and inked a sword and sorcery feature, Bloodbath, for Mayhem Comics and done design work for Wild Think. I did commercial graphic work for a few years, designing magazines and such. I've done booth designs for county fairs, commissioned birthday gifts for celebrities and logos, both animated and static, for numerous software products. I've been doing more fine art for the past 10 years, but still love to draw comics now and then.

I've written for Mayhem and Wild Think comics and I co-plotted an episode of the atrocious TV series Mutant X. I also have written articles for Alter Ego, Aquaman Chronicles, and Back Issue! and am a regular contributor to the website Pop Thought.

I'm not a regular reader of comics and haven't been a collector in about 20 years, but I do occasionally pick something up. Most of my passion for comics these days is directed toward Don Newton. I think, but I'm not completely sure, that I own a copy of everything he ever had published as a fan and as a pro at Charlton, DC and Marvel. I also own the second largest collection of Don Newton original art (curse you Steve Lipsky!) And if you have no idea who I am talking about I emplore you to follow the link to The Art of Don Newton.
