Currently working on a sword and sorcery title; Incantations in Dust and a science-fiction taleChampions of Rust. My writing style is influenced by writers like Clark Ashton Smith, James Branch Cabell, Glen Cook, Lord Dunsany and Robert E. Howard among many others. Art influences include Sidney Sime, Edmund Dulac, Arthur Rackham, Jim Murray, Paul Bonner and Simon Bisley and many, many more. The music I listen to while working on this can range from Heart to Alice in Chains to My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult to Mussorgsky.



Incantations in Dust is a fantasy tale with a few twists, a few nods to works of literature and music and a bit of the unexpected thrown in for good measure. Many social issues are addressed, some blatantly, some subliminally. Sometimes gritty, sometimes ironic, sometimes like a D&D game that has spun out of control.



Champions of Rust is a science fiction/fantasy companion to Incantations that delves into a the abuses of power and the meaninglessness of wars and the folly of tyrants.
