| Header: | free sketches are they becoming a thing of the past? | ||
| Bulletin: | Now don't get me wrong I have paid for sketches. The most I have shelled out for a sketch is 20 bucks. The sketches I have obtained thou are just for my sketchbooks and neither are that big. You can see all my sketches on my page. I don't have an 8 x 10 book just two small journal sized books. But at the last convention I went to some artists wanted 30 dollars for a sketch. I am not saying I won't spend that type of money however I haven't been willing to either. Its not that I don't think people deserve monies for their efforts but sometimes its nice just to get a sketch. I haven't paid for an autograph even if I have waited in lines of forever to get one. It just seems that after ebay struck gold that more and more sketches showed up that artists may have done for free and others were making a profit from them. So I was wondering what other people thought. Please feel free to make this an open forum or whatever. | ||
