Welcome to Beyond The Bunker.

Beyond the Bunker was started, unnamed at the time, when an Edinburgh based Australian scribe by the name of Benjamin Morgan (The Morgue) posted an advert, looking for comic artists with enthusiasm and talent. Among those who responded was Steve Penfold (Penners), a London based artist who quickly coined the name Beyond the Bunker, originally a reference to a flat he lived in at university.

The intention was simple; to collect together the finest comics creatives in the UK not already working in the comics industry and produce a set of titles that represented our collected love of the form, but an alternative to whats already out there.

With a canon of broad, inventive projects on their way with more to come' this website will hold the beginnings of titles that we hope will entertain, inform, elevate and project new talents onto the world comic stage. We expect you to watch this space. If you love comics this is where you need to be in 2007.
