| Header: | Hey you! Do you have a sprite comic? | ||
| Bulletin: | With all the stuff going on outside of the Internet, I totally forgot about ComicSpace. Needless to say, I have failed in the socializing on the Internet department. :( (Although I do appreciate the kind words some of you have left me. You are all full of sweetness~ <3) But this is not a post about my failure to check ComicSpace. Nor is it a post about the new features on DrunkDuck that just came up, allowing users to create forums and check out their comic statistics! (Hoho I am shameless.) But it is DrunkDuck related and in my defense, all I can say is that as a DD admin it shouldn't be too surprising that I talk about DD. I am looking for sprite comics. But before the tide of Megaman and Sonics sprites rise up and crush me, I am actually looking for custom sprites. Pixal art. So if you're hosted on DrunkDuck and you use custom made sprites, I would love to hear from you. Why? Well, that's a secret. ;) I am also interested in the process of pixal art/custom sprites. How different is it from drawn comics? How much time does it take to update? What limitations are there? What benefits can be found? Would you recommend it to other artists to try out? Also if anyone has any feedback they want to give about Featured Comics on DrunkDuck, feel free to post it here or in the forums. I tend to have my own taste in comics and feedback helps me from constantly looking at certain types of comics. I'm still not sure how to use this account quite yet. I want it to be useful to people and not just as a soundbyte for DrunkDuck news. If I can think of anything useful, I'll try it out. |
