Wow, where do I start?

It all started in 1984...
Of course it was nothing so dramatic. That just happens to be the year I was born. I was born in one of the oldest towns in Texas (so they say) on September 2nd to a rather young couple. But I won't bore you with the details of my childhood. I'm certain I'd totally lose your interest by age three.
I'm 24 (as of Sept. 2008) and I've been drawing and writing since I was about six, mostly fanfiction and fanart for my favorite cartoons and anime series. Admittedly not the best way to start out, but it was a great source of practice! These days, my style is a fusion of American comic style and Anime/Manga with a bit of my own flavor added here and there. I try to be as original as possible, but unfortunately I have to recognize that the style I use is used by plenty of others, some who draw much better than I. That's alright with me. I simply do what I love!
Most of my style and tastes lean toward darker, more psychological plotlines and illustrations, but I'm extremely fond of giant robots and fantasy. *hugs her Transformer action figures*
