As with any business, every day is a tough day. Being from San Diego, the military has an influence on everything here. So, to swipe a saying from the Navy SEALs, "The only easy day was yesterday".

Comics are a hard sell. As an Independent Publisher, We scrap with the big boys day in and day out. We lay our hearts and souls on the line with every book we publish. We get the critical acclaim, yet the sales don't show it.

So, here is what we ask. Take a minute to look over the art we have up, add it to your favorites, and then march up to your retailer and demand that they carry indies. Demand Bloodfire Studios. The more that people do that, the more stores will see that there is a demand for something other then DC and Marvel. Sure, I hope that Bloodfire is number one on your list, but I also understand that it will take companies like us to pay the way for others. Retailers must see that it is ok to purchase books from the independent publishers.
