Bloody Skull Comix are entirely self-published horror comix for fans of cult film and underground art. Adults Only Please.

My main influences are Jack Kirby and S.Clay Wilson. I'm also constantly inspired by my stacks of 70's comic books, bad drive-in movies, old metal, and beer.

I find alot of the current "scene" to be lacking in what I find entertaining in comics. Seems to me that most self-published comics these days are striving more to be cute, trendy, manga, or some kind of poppy, hipster, arty farty pieces of crap. But, that's why I do my own. I'm entertained by lowbrow, ultra-violent silliness. I can't seem to find very much of it around. So, I do it myself. There's room for everybody though, and all the lame, hip comic creators are more than welcome to keep spewing their junk. But I'll be here as a quiet reminder as to what self-published comix used to be...FUN.

I use no computer technology in my art. All things are done entirely by hand, including the coloring and lettering. All printing is done by me, although I do depend upon the existence of Kinko's to produce the front side of my comic covers. I could blab on more about the content and production, but all that stuff is at my website.

If you miss newsprint, 70's style coloring, lots of blatant violence and arterial spray, then my stuff might be for you. Just be sure to turn off your brain a little, prepare for some true escapism, and enjoy the filth!

Oh, and by the way, I'm reeeaaaallll picky on who gets in my "friend" list. So, if I find nothing remotely close to my interests on your page I will probably not befriend you. Don't come through here and not read this or not look at my site content and just expect me to help you hawk your boring comic. I know spam when I see it. Try to know a little about what I'm into before asking me to add you, thanks.
