Name's Kit. I draw Blue Canary.
Currently, I am one of 4 (count 'em, 4) winners of the innangrual Women Webcomiker Grant Nan, sponsored by Lea Hernandez. *thanks, lea! 8^)*

My comic will be hosted on Webcomicnation for a year...just as soon as I learn how to use the thing. o.0
Will post my url and the urls of the other 3 winners as soon as I get them.

been busy with work and all this past couple of months.

right now, i'm getting ready for CAPE 3.0!
i'll be there with darediva, so come by and see us if you'll be in the dallas area May 5!
I'll be selling Blue Canary ashcan comics and sketches.

Fellow Nan grant winner, Rachel Dukes, will also be there! Yay!

CAPE is a free event for "Free Comic Book Day."
Lots of artists, writers and comic creators will be there, under the tents in the Zeus Comics parking lots. You really, really need to check it out!

Also, there is a Live-Art show featuring jim mahfood, dave crosslands, david mack, lea hernandez and more! it's May 4 at St. Pete's Dancing Marlin. the party starts at 9pm!
art at the live-art show will be auctioned off to benefit Penny Arcade's Child's Play and The Children's Medical Center.

i'm working on an ashcon comic for the con. i've asked my fellow Nan Grant winners (Julia Claire Begley, Ann Kennedy and Rachel Dukes) to contribute. s'not fair unless they get some exposure, too!

it's official!
i'll be at MegaCon this Feb. 16-18th with the folks of Nightgig. I'll post the table # when i know it. Come by and say hello to Tim, Scott and Jo. 8^)
I'm currently finishing up an ashcan to sell at cons this year. I hope to have it ready for this one!

Also, i've recieved an invite to CAPE 3 in Dallas, Tx. It's a free-comic-book-day event at the Eisner-winning Zeus Comics.
Come join the fun! it's free! it's a friendly atmosphere you won't find at most cons!
I'll be sharing a table with Alice, she who does awesome thread paintings and fabric collages of your favorite superheros. Come and see her stuff folks, it's beautiful.

still breathing. um, sometimes i don't check my comicspace everyday. *gasp & shock * i know.
but if it takes me awhile to get back and friend you or reply to a message, don't be offended. it just means i haven't gotten it yet.
i was supposed to get emails when folks left messages, but i got two and didn't know it until i logged in. hmmm. oh, well.

i'm in the midst of making plans to attend megacon in february. more details on that as i know them.

i've updated the sketchblog, for my scanner is now operational once more. yay, me!
