Post-NYCC Inkwell Awards report!

Ugh. I'm still achey & sore but it was certainly well worth it. I am always startled and honored by all the sentiments of warm wishes and support for what our little group does by all sorts, fans and fellow peers both.

We have on hand 26 fantastic items that will be posted in our WAVE 3 eBay auctions by Bob Shaw this Friday with Dark Reign sketchcovers and sketchcards by Jim Starlin, Peter Laird, Ken Branch, Dave Simons, Jimmy Palmiotti, Kevin Nowlan, Joe Sinnott, Bob McLeod, Phillip Tan, Craig Rousseau, Rob Reilly, Andrew Pepoy, Ed Coutts, Jim Calafiore, Steve Mannion, Steve Lavigne, Mark Texeira, Christopher Jones, Alan Kupperberg, and items on the way this week for the auction by Warren Martineck, Walt Simonson, and Jay Leisten. Plus we have several in the works for WAVE 4!

Our 2009 donation drive sketchbooks that were mentioned here earlier are now signed by several contributing artists such as Joe Sinnott, Mike Lilly, Alex Saviuk, Craig Rousseau, Michael Dooney, Khoi Pham, Tom Raney, Brian Kong, Mike McKone, Tommy Castillo, Hannibal King, Scott Wegener, and myself, all free with a donation for only $10 while supplies last!!!!!

Besides the books, we sold some Inkwell Awards t-shirts like to creator supporters Enrique Savory, Jr. and Serge Lapointe....for sale for $20- have you bought yours yet? We'll have more on sale at the upcoming 2 Boston shows on March 8 and April 4 & 5 (more on that soon).

Lastly, we'll have group photos of the IA team posted on the Inkwell Awards site soon with Bob Shaw, Jimmy Tournas, Dave Simons, Ernie Pelletier, Mark McKenna, and myself included.
