Hey Brian! Thanks for the add! We're big fans of your work. Local has been kicking ass and taking names (of course, we went to school with Ryan, so we're kinda biased). It's the first thing out of the bag every month.

Keep up the great work!

I love it!
Dark & mysterious!
Can't wait for the new titles you mention!

Brian,
Dude I just finished issue 12 of DMZ and I really dug it. I thought it definitely added another layer to the story, and the news magazine style was cool. I'm looking forward to 13 (it's on my side table ready to be read) and more Local as well.

Thanks for checking out my stuff!

blue skies,
Shawn

Hey Brian! Thanks muchly for the add. I just picked up The Tourist yesterday -- that Toby Cypress is a bit tasty, isn't he..?

You're welcome, but it wasn't flattery but a sincere comment; your work rocks.

Thank you for the invite!

I noticed you live in Brooklyn. Will you be attending the NYCC in February?

Hey Brian, congrats on the new arrival!

Thanks for adding me to your friends!

Pardon this pre - written/forum Seasons Greetings, as always we wish for peace on earth, and in this New Year may you have the wisdom to drink no more than one glass of alcohol for every too of alcohol and not drive… er, no.
That’s water.
One of alcohol and 2 of water- yah - so as to not get a bad hangover due to over conviviality.
And maybe a nice bit of nosh too, a bit of nuts and cheese.
And hey, some roasted meat or appropriate vegetarian substitute - but not tofurky, god that stuff is awful - so you don’t puke and look green like the other day at my friends place – the water that is, so you don’t puke - and the nosh so there is something solid to soak it all up with, bread with it all is really the best - her poor roommate I saw there while waiting to go to the bus station.

And yah, don’t forget to not spend your buss or taxi money on all that like I did once - stick it in your shoe or something, unless you expect to loos those at some point. What was I saying?

Oh yah, so happy New Year all!

Your work has inspired me more than anyone this past year, Brian. Local, Tourist, and especially DMZ #12 have had a huge impact on how I approach making comics.

Love your work. Can't wait to track down the issues of Local that I'm missing. Thanks for the add.

I'm a loyal DMZ reader, and recommend your work to all the cool kids and adults at the library: Demo, Local, Supermarket. Thanks for giving us thoughtful work.
