thanks for taking the time to approach me first to comment.

I am actually not doing much on Comicspace right now, I am waiting until the whole site is done, other wise I would be surfing around here and comment more.

I feel bad for saying my honest opinion after you have given me such high praise for my work, but I will keep it honest to my comment, may it serve you well.

For Samurai Perfect:
Honestly speaking I have seen this kind of starting point around a few hundred times by now, so it doesn't impress me. (Not that I always have a perfect start for my story either...)

Since it's only a start, you have a lot of room to develop and still make the story interesting. I will check back on that. Definitately plan more for your begining in your next project, begining sells the work, and with so much competition today, people have short attention span and patience for you.
You need to grasp their interest immediately, but action and blood is not always the solution, (especially if everyone else uses it...) you need to sell a concept immediately as well... and not just how strong is the character... or how mystic he can be, but how will he relate to the audience.

So far for the art execution, you are using colors in a very iconic way, grass is green, night is black and purple, colors are very flat, you need to study more of how colors actually changes in different lighting to do a strong color comic/manga. I would suggest you do that.
