Fantastic gallery, Terry!
Some absolutely breath-taking work in there!

Wow! With its central theme of intelligent animals on the run, I guess "Max and the GGS" could be seen as having a certain superficial similarity to Grant Morrison's "We3". Except, of course, that "We3" was pretty lightweight and had none of the depth of character, humour or even the all-out action-led excitement of "Max". This is great work!

WOW, what an awesome comment! :) Thank you so much for the nice words, I'm really glad you enjoy MaxGorilla. I have to say that I am not familiar at all with We3, I had to look it up, but to be compared favorably with Grant Morrison is indeed a compliment, so thanks for that.

I hope you continue to enjoy MaxGorilla.

Take care,
-Kev

Thanks for the add, Tesuko. As an indy/horror fan, look out for "Hunted" at my website. We think it's a pretty unique way to look at the vampire genre, so it might be just what you're looking for. It's not there yet but we'll be starting to serialise it very soon, so keep your eye on the bulletins!

Shame about the demise of "Scarlet Crush". Looks like it was shaping up to be something really good. Oh well - better luck with "Storm Bringers"!

Been enjoying YND for some time, Taki.

Reminds me of The Crow except without all the unexplained "back from the dead" stuff. Plus YND is better drawn, too! Keep up the good work - DAJB.

Thanks for the add, Rodrigo - hope you can find something at my website that appeals!

Hey, Shades is very nice... great comic!!

You know - as much as I love those pics of Phantom Girl and Batgirl (and I do!) - there is something seriously disturbing about that Billy and Mandy pic. I may never be able to watch the show again!

D-
Sorry!
I just thought it would be funny since Mandy has that severely austere personality if she grew up and was smokin' hot. That personality in that body.... GAH!

I blame my bad ideas on too much studio isolation... yeah, THAT'S my problem! HA!
Thanks for commenting bro!
My best to ya!

Hey, Lee - about time you showed up here! Sorry we couldn't wait, so we've gone ahead and started the party without you! Have to say "The Lumbering Dead" is by far the best slice-of-life comic anywhere. (And we haven't even seen the zombies yet!)

Thanks for your kind words about Shades! It updates every Wednesday but we will Bulletin it so you can keep on "geeking out" without having to remember! Thanks again - DAJB.

Awesome. I'm definitely keeping my eye on this then.

Thanks for the add by the way!

Thanks for the add, Kiley. Hope you can find something at my website to enjoy (hint: like you, my comic "Shades" has a habit of complicating its storyline too!)

The comic I have the most trouble with, coming up with far too many new ideas is called "Shades of Gray." I'll have to take a look at yours!

You play WoW AND have time for other things? Sounds unlikely to me! Thanks for the add, Matthew. Hope you can find something at my website to enjoy. (Sorry - no mimes!)

I'm watching "Shades" with great interest. Sadly, not all entertainment can be mime-based.

Has there been a mime meme? Maybe that's something I need to start.

[ Posted by brokenvoice on Jan 11th, 2007 2:29 AM ]...

True. You have no idea how hard I tried to put mimes into "Shades". Just wasn't working, though, and they never made the final cut!

Hey - as a fan, a geek AND a reader, you're way over-qualified for this place! Thanks for the add, Ed. Hope you can find something at my website to enjoy in at least one of those capacities!

[ Posted by brokenvoice to AtomicMedia on Jan 10th, 2007 5:51 PM ]...

Thanks for the add, Chris. Not that you need any more super hero fare on your pull list but, if you're looking for something new in that line, try "Shades" at my website. Slightly different slant, I think (but then, of course, I am biased!)

A fan and a carnivore? Sounds like a dangerous combination! Thanks for the add, Brad. Hope you can find something at my website to enjoy!

Thanks for the add, Allen. You have some nice work at your website. It's a shame we don't have any cash to employ a colourist but I hope you can find something at our website to enjoy, all the same! Thanks again - DAJB.

Aah, Oxfordshire ... home of the bande dessinee! Thanks for the add, Kate. As someone else keeping the flag flying in dear old Blighty, I hope you can find something at my website to enjoy!

Cheers for the accept :) I did indeed enjoy your website! Keep it up - best wishes~!

[ Posted by brokenvoice to Martin_Hamster on Jan 10th, 2007 5:49 AM ]...

Thanks for the add, Martin. We need more hamsters on here! Hope you can find something at my website to enjoy (and, since you like indie/horror comics, look out for "Hunted", the new comic we'll be starting to serialise later this month!)

Looking forward to it. Hopefully you'll be able to enjoy some of my work... as soon as I get some finished... :o)

Thanks for the add, Brian. Hope you can find something at my website to enjoy!

[ Posted by brokenvoice to IndyComicReview on Jan 10th, 2007 6:10 AM ]...

Thanks for the add, guys. Hope to be getting print versions of a couple of our comics together later this year but, if you want to get a sneak preview while they're still web-only, you might want to take a look at "Shades" and/or "The Spires". Thanks again - DAJB.

[ Posted by brokenvoice to BirdsofGeek on Jan 10th, 2007 6:06 AM ]...

Thanks for the add, gals! I don't know if you follow any web or indie comics but, in case you do, there are a couple of heroine types about to make an appearance in our graphic novel "Shades" and, later this month, we'll be starting to serialise "Hunted", not exactly BoP but it is a whole comic devoted to two female leads! Look in if you get time. (We're pretty friendly!)

[ Posted by brokenvoice to kitty231 on Jan 10th, 2007 5:57 AM ]...

Thanks for the add, Denise. Hope you can find something at my website that a "bird of geek" can enjoy!

[ Posted by brokenvoice to yankeejohn on Jan 10th, 2007 5:55 AM ]...

Thanks for the add, John. As a fellow Batfan, I hope you can find something at my website to enjoy (lots of super hero types hanging out in "Shades", for example!).

[ Posted by brokenvoice to gigdem on Jan 10th, 2007 5:51 AM ]...

Thanks for the add, David. We need more "readers" like you and fewer "creators" like me on here! Hope you can find something at my website to enjoy.

[ Posted by brokenvoice to johnfreeman on Jan 9th, 2007 10:04 AM ]...

Thanks for the add, John. I'm afraid my comics are all on the long side (certainly too long to be called "strips"!) but I hope you're still enjoying "Shades" anyway"! Thanks again - DAJB.
