| Bulletin: | My article on the New Mutants comic book series appears in the brand-new issue of Back Issue magazine. In it, I explore the history of this classic comic book series of the 1980s, from its creation by Chris Claremont and Bob McLeod through the Bill Sienkiewicz era to Claremont leaving the book and Louise Simonson taking over the writing duties to the end, which introduced Rob Liefeld to the X-Men universe. If you aren't familiar with Back Issue magazine, it is the definitive source on comics from the 1970s and '80s. This is my first assignment for them -- the first, I hope, of many to come.
