Yay! They finally gave us working galleries, here! *starts setting up her various comics the way she WANTS them rather than how ArtZone.com jumbles them all up*I do commercial art for a living, raise goats and play with 3D characters in DAZ|Studio and Poser for fun (which is where my comics come from). I can't do a continuous series like others seem to. *has no problem doing a cartoon, then doing one or two others based on the original idea*I just tend to move on to the next Toon idea I get into my head. If it fits in with a previous cartoon, great! If not, it's all water under the bridge. *tried doing the continual series thing*That didn't work out too well. ;o) *takes more of a "Far Side" than "Bloom County" approach to her comics**wanders off onto a tangent for a moment*I love playing with Toons in Poser rather than the photo-realistics like Victoria 3. *blech!**returns to the conversation at hand*Miss me?! :o) 3D Universe and Netherworks craft my favorites, and I'm constantly keeping an eye out for more good Poser Toons to add to my collection; the cheaper, the better (since my Poser budget seems to stay in a constant state of 'broke'). I also run an online catalog/forum where I had been keeping track of all of Staci's items (3D Universe), but have expanded it to include other Poser Toons, as well. *doesn't have time to work on it as much as she did before, but it's there for anyone trying to track down Toony characters for Poser or DAZ|Studio*odeathoflife has uploaded his Conforming Armour + Hair for Staci pack from Renderosity as a freebie at ShareCG and has allowed me to upload the rest of his Staci catalog there, as well. (Please note that they are different links in the urls above.) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- *noticed that TopCow has an account here, now, and wonders if she'll get a Friend Invite from them, too*- Dec. 9, 2006 Everyone else seems to be sending them to me. And unlike at my ArtZone.com account, I haven't bothered turning any of them away since I feel I'm in a more Toon-friendly environment here. *would rather have a bunch of people she doesn't know on her Friend's lists whom like Comics and Cartoons than a bunch of people she doesn't know who have no idea what comics are or only spend their time rendering nakey Victoria 3 pictures to plaster all over the Net* :o) Guess I should change that to Victoria 4 now that she's been released and the DAZ servers are being dragged down to hell with the lag of 3D pervs trying to be the first to vomit up nakey images of her in temples with swords at every freakin' 3D community around... So, when are we going to get blogs added? *watched a really cool Flash animation at albinoblacksheep, today...*- Dec. 12, 2006 Animator vs. AnimationI made a little animated gif link button like the ones at the top of this page (the Project Wonderful! ads), but I doubt very seriously that I'll ever use it for such. Still, it turned out nicely, I think. Echoes From A Fractured Mind link button. I've never been big on animated gifs (since they mostly tend to just bog down my system whenever I dare to open an Emoticon panel in a forum or something)... but creating it was a nice diversion from a bout with boredom. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- K... what else have I done lately... *completed a 10 character portrait pack for the Neverwinter Nights "Firefly" system and .haks*( preview image) It took a few days for them to OK the upload at nwvault, though. Ooooo! *just checked the page and noticed that it's currently got a perfect "10" rating*I'm so shiny!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- After spending months on the low side of my Manic/Depression, I've finally started crawling back out and working myself back up to the Manic end of things. *uploaded 3 new D&D cartoons to her series, too*So, when are we getting Blogs?

I've been wanting to do a few more comics, but just haven't been inspired to load up D|S and get started on them. I've grabbed those M3 Star Trek morphs and hair styles from mylochka. I may try doing a comic or two with them; or if I can get the hair styles set to fit Aiko Toon and Hiro Toon, using them, instead. *shrugs* I don't know; depends on how bored I get, I guess. :o)
Den T already has the Star Trek/Emotiguy comics so it wouldn't be all that original for me to use Emotiguy that way... could try using Toon Gecko and Sal A. Manda. *could possibly use Sal as Khan!!!*
Speaking of Khan, I was looking through eBay this morning and noticed that those collector Star Trek plates (Cpt. Picard and Locutus) aren't the major collector items I had been led to believe when I bought them. They're selling for like $10 + $13 S&H. What a ripoff. Wish I had the 7 of 9 plate. It was selling for over $200! Aaack!
Of course, if I was ever going to spend $200 for a collectible, it'd be one of the two MST3K dvd sets that Rhino pulled after having them out a month and a half. (Volumes 9 and 10). I really really hate Rhino for that crap. Burn in hell, you sorry rat-bastages. >:o(

It moved after the bonehead at Sci-Fi Channel dropped them from the lineup a few years ago... and shut down the Caption This! section.
Mike Nelson has a new pet project where he records riffs in .mp3 format that you can buy and play (on a stereo) to listen to over movies on your DVD player (or VHS).
