Hi. I'm Evad and you can visit me at Cactus Comics. However, since you're here, take the time to check out The Misadventures of a Comic Fan. I'm attempting to throw a little of everything in there and still keep it interesting. Initially it was intended to be a single or multi-panel narrative much like what would be found in the newspaper. I slowly switched over to something closer to a traditional comic page. In creating the visual look for this series, I've decided no rulers and no visual references. Why? Well, I believe there is a certain stiffness in an artwork that relies to heavily on straight edges, and I like the feel it gives the page without any straight lines. I'm not using any visual references because it ensures a more cartoony and surreal look. Right now I have no concrete plans to do anything with this series other then to produce it for fun.
