My 80's Cover Band

I also have an idea for a comic/graphic novel that I'm working on, I have about twenty pages written at the moment (plot style). If anyone is interested in collaborating, send me some samples of your work and I'll send you a plot synopsis, and maybe we'll create something amazing.

As far as reading/collecting, X-Men and Avengers are my favorites, I have unbroken collections going back to the early 70's for the Avengers and to the dark phoenix saga for Uncanny. (I'm trying to go back further but it's starting to get expensive) Aside from those two, I tend to read titles based on the artist and/or writer.
Favorite writers: Peter David, Grant Morrison, Kurt Busiek, Chris Claremont
Favorite artists: at the top spot by far is Alan Davis. I would buy a graphic novel version of the phone book if he was the artist. :) Runner-up is Gary Frank. In no particular order after that, John Byrne, George Perez, Kevin Maguire, Walter Simonson, John Buscema, Frank Quitely, etc.
Favorite non-superhero comic: Concrete by Paul Chadwick. However, I just started reading the trade paperbacks of The Walking Dead, and man is it good.
