Hey all, Shawn here again. It's been awhile, so allow me to apologize on behalf of the guys here at Cape Noir Comics. Our everyday lives kind of got busy, you know, work and all that. Now we're back on course... sort of.
A couple of weeks ago, on a cold Wisconsin sunday morning, the three of us met up at our local coffee shop (free wi-fi, yay!) to hammer out some ideas for a preview issue that would give everyone a taste of what we have coming. After talking about LOST, Smallville and the plethora of comics that we each read for several hours, we got to the task at hand.
The decision was made to do something original for each of the four books we're working on that would introduce readers to the world of Cape Noir. No preview pages of any of these books, but all fresh ideas that will add to each book's overall mythology. This isn't as easy as we thought, but it got us thinking and helped to set up a timeline for our universe.
I'm not going to ruin any surprises, but we've got big plans in store. Stay with us, it'll be worth it.
