This is going to sound like a strange compliment, but I really, really like your pencils. It makes me want to see your pencil lines in your finished work somehow, because there's a certain weight and texture to them that's very rich.

The book's still a little while off though - still working hard on rewrites of the script at the moment, and of course experimenting in making the sequential imagery so stunning, readers' eyes will be popping out on stalks, Total Recall-style. Wouldn't want to let anybody down, would I?
