Congrats on the Star Trek gig -- I just read about that in a recent IDW book, The Great and Secret Show, and they had a 5-page preview in the back, too.

That's one sweet gig!

Hey... Don't get too busy, mi amigo de Tom, we still have to put a certain iHero-based Bengal Cat project down on paper at some point... Or else I'll use Tom as my personal punching bag. (Or I might anyway, if just to say thanks to him.) Take care.

Erik,

I may not know you personally but I know of you and your work a great deal. Hopefully we can meet at this years Comic-Con or something, my fellow former Shooting Star-er.

Well, maybe not this year -- no San Diego in the budget for me! -- but at some point, I'll make it back to the southwest. (Probably just shortly after you're too big to speak to such as I! Heh.) Well, back to the drawing table for me.

Hey! ty 4 d add Casey! Yes a collaboration would be incredible especially with a talent such as yourself! Why in no time we'd have Tetsuya Nomura's job (which by the way IS truly the best job in the world I agree!) So yes keep me in mind and I will do the same! Take care and excellent job on the Enigmas btw!!

I'm serious, man! I'm still trying to find my style and I don't think I'm any closer to where I want it to be yet. But you seem to have very clear direction, and it's a great one!

Heh, actually I took Sunday off even though I'm close to deadline on Star Trek. Sometimes you just got to step away for a bit, you know? I played a lot of Okami :)

Just remember...I have your home address. And I will come down there and take that Spider-Man "masterpiece" from your. Or your XBox 360. By force. You may be tall, but I'm bigger.

And it's not your manga stylings. It's that damn manga smile. Which you fixed. SO EVERYONE...GO BUY THE COTG TRADE TO SEE THE FIXED MANGA SMILE. This is after, of course, you buy the floppies to see the difference in the artwork.

Sorry to hear about Shooting Star, Scott. Here's to 2007! And I'm incredibly jealous of the fact you're going to have a MAME cabinet >:(

[ Posted by illustrators_lounge on Jan 2nd, 2007 7:25 PM ]...

That's not an easy task, putting Star Trek into comics, but you've done a great job from the look of things! I admire your talent. Happy New Year, swing by the Lounge any time

Remember that time you drew Children of the Grave? That was cool. Good luck with Star Trek.
