Hello Everyone,

My name is Steve Kanaras. Only in Whispers is at the printer! After months of hard work and excellent collaboration, issue number one of Only in Whispers will soon be available.

In addition to "Only in Whispers", plans have been going forward with my friends at Free Lunch Comics to produce a Science Fiction anthology. Whereas Only in Whispers will be mostly self-contained stories, the Sci-Fi book will be 3 serials and a Guest story. I am seeking an artist for my serial. It is an all ages story tentatively titled "Starchaeology!" It is the story of a University Professor exploring the remains of Alien civilizations throughout the Spheres!

Your Tales of the Supernatural

Bulletin: Following the Supernatural theme of Only in Whispers, we are soliciting your TRUE tales of brushes with the Supernatural. Have you ever met a ghost? Had an eerie feeling of being visited by a Spirit? Had a confrontation with a power you could not understand?

Please share it with us! We will be publishing a letter column with tales from our fans. Just about everyone has a story, so please share yours with us and it may just see print.

Work for the book is coming along very well, and we are still on track for a fall release.

Last year, over 100 teams competed for the chance to be published, and dozens of the top projects have been appearing in Mysterious Visions Anthology. 3 of the other top projects have been picked up by 3rd party publishers, and a couple others are also now with the Dimestore Imprint. This year, we’re upping the ante. With a very small entry free, we’re going to have a CASH PRIZE for the winner, as well as a publishing deal. Sounds interesting? Anyone who is not currently being published by a “name” company, who is not making a living making comics, is eligible. So if you have a webcomic you’d like to rework a bit into a comic…entering will grab you lots of new eyes on your work. Self published issues haven’t been selling great? Kick it up a notch, and see how it stacks up in the spotlight.
